Heritage is an expression of cultural diversity and an essential pillar for peace, security, human rights, and sustainable development. As a source of both tangible and intangible wealth, it must be protected, especially in conflict contexts (UNESCO, 2005). Our proposal promotes a pluralistic education that values this diversity, fostering the recognition of the various ways of being, thinking, and existing. We seek to integrate local and global cultures in an approach based on cooperation and respect, thereby strengthening coexistence and mutual understanding.

Our proposal in this line of action promotes artistic education oriented toward engaging with others, fostering the recognition of one's own body as the basis for reflecting the cultural development of others and strengthening humanity’s social development.

An intercultural approach respects the dialogue among diverse parties without imposing one over another, enabling peaceful and harmonious coexistence. Our proposal in this line of action promotes a critical and inclusive education, where the other is recognized in their entirety—with their beliefs, essence, and values. Through the recognition and re-signification of bodily and social memories, we foster a commitment to intercultural and peaceful coexistence based on strategies of dialogue and the negotiation of differences, reaffirming humanity as the fundamental and supreme value.

Memory

Memory is the capacity of human cognition to recall images, situations, and sounds experienced in the past—whether they are positive and joyful or complex and painful.

Our proposal in this line of action envisions an education aimed at repairing what has been painful or has left a negative wound; to rebuild it, heal it, and make it visible through peace and reconciliation actions that project a future of harmony and non-repetition for the victims .
