II Ephemeral Museum for Reconciliation

The “Ephemeral Museum for Reconciliation” was implemented for a second time in August and September 2016 in “Altos de Cazucá”, a neighborhood in vulnerable conditions situated in the outskirts of Bogotá. The project was realized in partnership with the Colombian University EAN and the Hungarian researcher Kinga Szemessy from the University of Theater and Film Arts in Budapest. A group of around 40 kids between 3 and 12 years old participated in the project.

The methodology we used integrated bodily movement with plastic arts from a playful perspective, to touch upon different aspects of conflict and reconciliation. The project ended with a final encounter along with other members of the community, to share and experiment together small actions of transformation of the energy of the conflict into practices of reconciliation. This was a chance to invite our participants to take care of themselves, of others, and of the environment in which we live.
